Hey I got this from a friend named Segar,... he's not the kind you smoke he's the kind you listen to and he's not steered me wrong yet. We keep saying that Christianity is under attack here in America. If you look at the stats it is not really true that Christianity is on the decline. What is true is that we, you and I that are believers just sit and watch it happen and say nothing. When we do that we allow the A.C.L.U. the American Communist party and other orgs to come in and boot out the Bible in school, Prayer in school and the public display of any Christian religious symbol. Why?!!! We are divided into "SECTS" that don't agree on everything but we all agree that Jesus/Yeshua is Lord and Savior. So what are YOU going to do about it?

Here is what happened to me. I went to Target for some CHRISTmas shopping when I went to the register to pay I said "Merry CHRISTmas". The reaction was amazing! The casher who was worn out by the grumpy CHRISTmas shoppers looked up suddenly and she smiled really big and said thank you! People in the line started smiling and wishing each other Merry CHRISTmas soon people were passing it on through the whole store and the grumpy mood changed to smiles and random acts of kindness. So how about you? Has my "merry CHRISTmas reached you yet? Will you pass it along? If you do it will do two things, Please the G-d we believe in because we are honoring the Man who died to unite us with our Father in Heaven, Jesus His son. Number two? You will be reaffirming your faith in Jesus to the world and all of it's many people and that will change the world.

It’s World War!

(Part One, It’s back!)

If you were alive in 1918 you may have seen this headline, “It’s World War!” It was in every newspaper in America. December 7, 1941 the same cycle of World War started up again. That cycle was called “World War 2”. Millions were killed in both wars. In “World War 2” the Germans under the brutal dictator Adolph Hitler murdered over six million Jews. Many would later deny this great tragedy’s existence. The buried bodies of the Jewish dead throughout Germany can never be denied. This tragedy was and still is called “The Holocaust”. Although Joseph Stalin of Russia murdered many more than six million innocent people we still remember “The Holocaust” as one of the greatest horrors of war. This great “Holocaust” of the Jews during “World War 2” gave rise to fears that the Jews as a race of people would be removed from the Earth. On May 13, 1948 the State of Israel was born. Perhaps I should say that the State of Israel was re-born. Along with the rebirth of the State of Israel came not one war but “wars and rumors of wars”. Once again anti-Semites reared their ugly heads and cried out for the blood of the Jew. One other thing had begun to exhibit itself upon the earth because of the re-birth of Israel as a nation. That one thing did not occur until after the Jews in the “Six Day War” liberated the "City of Jerusalem" in 1967. Once the repossession of the “City of Jerusalem” was accomplished time started ticking away from the heavenly clock which numbers the days allotted for the “End Times”. If you do not know what the “End Times” is then I suggest that you read the following statement that was made about a couple of millenniums ago.

Matthew Chapter 24 verses 3 through 6; (3) And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (4) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (6) And ye shall hear of “wars and rumors of wars”: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (kjv)

Also that little statement by Yeshua/Jesus, “but the end is not yet”, means that there is a seven year period called the “Tribulation Period” that will come after the “Rapture of the Saints” then the end will come. That should clear it up for you or read all of "Matthew Chapter 24". "Matthew Chapter 24" is all about the end times and what will happen then. If that does not work go ask any “Christian” that has read the book of “Revelation” from the Christian Bible. Ah… that is if they are not confused about it to. Then there is the “Antichrist”… So just keep reading and you’ll get the picture it’s all going to revolve around Israel. If you know what I’m talking about get ready for some chills up and down your spine. Keep Israel in mind and remember State of Israel was re-born in May of 1948 that was almost sixty years ago! We are running out of time! Many of you may be learning this for the first time today. Some of you have realized this and the finality of this has not really hit you yet. We are on the cusp of the end of the world, as we know it. Then there is the United States Economic System’s failure that is about to happen.

The Economic System in which we live and thrive is based supposedly on the “gold bullion standard”. Oops! Not anymore and we missed the funeral for that corpse because we were busy with “World Wars” you know the twins 1 and 2. The economic system started to fail at the “Battle of the Bulge” during “World War 2”. The “Battle of the Bulge” during “World War 2” was fought between the “Allied Command” and the “Axis Powers”. The “Allied Command” were comprised of the British, the French and the Americans along with some other “good guys” whose countries had fallen to the “bad guys” known as the “Axis Powers”. The “Axis Powers” were comprised of Germany, Japan and Russia. Here are two odd things, one the “Axis Powers” were called the “Powers”! If you look in the Bible you can find a quote about “Powers” in Ephesians Chapter 6 verse12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (kjv) Here is the other odd thing about the “Axis Powers” verses the “Allied Command”. The Russians who were led by Joseph Stalin, the guy who killed more than Adolph Hitler in that war, started out as a member of the “Axis Powers”! Joseph Stalin later switched sides and became a member of the “Allied Command”. Russia would later swallow up many of the losing countries of “World War 2”. Under Joseph Stalin and communism. Russia became the U.S.S.R., the “Soviet Union” or as they were called mostly Soviet Russia. Oh, then there is this little factoid! In what became a war of “economics” the United States defeated the Russians. The economic war came to be known as the “Cold War” and caused the “Soviet Union” to separate back into the countries, which had existed prior to “World War 2”!
“Wars and rumors of wars”, sound familiar it’s from Matthew Chapter 24. “Wars and rumors of wars” have been on the increase exponentially since 1948. A wonderful man Dr. David Reagan has a DVD on the exponential curve called… you guessed it “The Exponential Curve” you can order it from www.lamblion.com for about $10.00 it is a magnificent piece of work.

Oh, yes about the United States defeating the Soviet Union in the “Cold War”, get ready to duck. After World War 1, which was called “the war to end all wars”, (yeah, that really worked), Germany was defeated. Can you guess whom we fought in World War 2? Yes! It was Germany, under Adolph Hitler. Like I said get ready to duck! We are currently at war yet again with Russia. Russia is not under Joseph Stalin this time. Stalin is long dead and doing the backstroke in the “Lake of Fire” known as hell. Russia is under a modern sophisticate named Vladimir Putin. Say… wasn’t Count Dracula’s first name Vladimir? Anyway, Russia is our current dance partner in this economic war and this time they are winning thanks to a little economic confederation called the “European Union” which is swiftly overtaking the United States as the world’s biggest economic “power”, (Remember what I said about those “Powers” earlier?), The E.U. will also play a big part in the “End Times” but that is for another time. "Back in the U.S.S.R"…. hmm, sounds like a song title, continuing on, Russia has not forgotten the economic beating that the U.S. gave it via Ronald Reagan in the last century and they through Vladimir Putin want a rematch. Russia is currently arming Syria, Iran, Korea and the terrorists Hamas and most likely Al Queda with them. We are not only engaged in another “cold war” but in a “hot war” that is anything but conventional and the Russians are winning it! Just look at the current war in Iraq. We are really starting to make headway but we are not doing it fast enough to satisfy the American voters. So everyone wants to pull the troops out of Iraq. Everyone except that is George Bush the American President. Sorry Mr. President the people have spoken. So why can’t President Bush give up and pull the troops out? Well, the great American public has yet again started talking with its foot in its mouth. Most and I would put that most at 90% of the American public has not got a clue about what is really happening in this war. I mean just look at the current Middle Eastern crisis between the Jews and the Muslims and the war in Iraq. It seems like there is more to it than we can actually see. Just who are the whos and what are the whys and can they be stopped? Will this "Titanic" sink?

What truth could there be in a sinner?

Who is a sinner and what truth could there be in a sinner? I have been working on this question since I realized as a small child that I was a sinner and that I would die a sinner and burn in hell. I can assure you that I was terrified of that thought and it haunted me and caused me to fight myself to keep from sinning. The thing that caused me the most fear is that I could not stop myself from sinning. (Not being able to stop sinning still bothers me to this very day.) I tried everything that I could come up with but I failed every time and with everything that I came up with.


From the Bible(s), both of them, the Christian and the Jewish Tanakh we learn that if you are a sinner and you die a sinner you will spend all of eternity in hell. Well, that sucks highly but is it the truth? Yeshua/Jesus says that “if” you believe in Him you will have a magnificent eternal life and will live that eternal life with Yeshua/Jesus in Heaven forever. What about your sin? You know the sin that you can’t stop yourself from committing. Are we all doomed to become burning charcoal briquettes doing the backstroke in the Lake of Fire? Is there no hope for us sinners who just can’t stop sinning?


According to the Bible, “the Christian one”, Yeshua/Jesus has the power to forgive all of our sins. That same Christian Bible, (Christians call it the “New Testament”), states boldly that Yeshua/Jesus died on the Roman cross for our sins. In plain words Yeshua/Jesus died on the cross so that His Father, who was and is Our Creator and G-d would relent of His vengeance on His sinful creations and not toss all us sinners into the Lake of Fire known as hell. Wow! Where can I find that line to stand in at the Last Judgment? Keep reading and you’ll see. There is just one thing that bothers me about all of this. In fact this one thing is really bugging me because it doesn’t make any sense. Let’s take a look at this whole sin and forgiveness deal with G-d.Hmmm, it looks like it is more complex than we thought.


G-d's Son, Jesus the Christ or if you don’t like calling Jesus by His Greek title we can call Jesus by the name we hear Him called by almost as much. That name is Jesus of Nazareth. Wait a second we can’t really call Jesus by the name of Jesus of Nazareth because that really isn’t His name at all. We are still calling Jesus by His Greek name! “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”, the name is in two parts and most certainly does not mean what we think it does. So when we call on the “name” of “Je-sus/yea-Zeus” for salvation from “our sins” are we calling on the wrong person? Some guy named “Je-sus/yea-Zeus” didn’t die on the cross for us. Ouch! That sounds like a big dose of blasphemy to me but is it really? The truth of this shocking development is going to be a very important point in our discussion about sin, salvation and how to stop that soul destroying sinning, (whew!).


I know this appears to open a very large can of worms and that the little buggers are crawling away as fast as they can but since G-d gave dominion over the Earth and all of it’s creature to Adama/Adam then we, that’s you and me, as Adama’s/Adam’s decedents must know that gift passes on to us Adama/Adam’s heirs. So armed with that truth let’s start re-capturing those worms one by one and stuff them back in that can. Although it is true that “Je-sus’/yea-Zeus’” name was not “Je-sus/yea-Zeus” we still call the only begotten Son of G-d “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”. Why do we do that? (In Mexico there are a bunch of guys named Jesus/hey-soos and that is the same as “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”… ah… maybe… I think. Confused? So am I!) Anyway moving on that would be like calling a guy named George by the name of Fred and expecting George to answer to Fred instead of just walking away from us and never knowing that we were talking to him. Armed with that worm… ah, it’s also called a truth let’s continue. So what does the name “Je-sus/yea-Zeus” mean? If it is not the real “given name” of G-d’s only begotten Son. Where does it come from? What does it mean? Oh, and how does that affect our prayers? Let’s s-l-o-w d-o-w-n and answer one worm, I mean question at a time before we go careening off into a wall or get lost in the weeds altogether. Take a look at the name “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”. Where does it come from? The Greeks. What does it mean? “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”, Je/yea is like the Hebrew prefix Ben or son of. Sus or Zeus actually means the son of Zeus! Zeus was the pagan king of the gods in the Greek pantheon of their gods. Zeus was, (to the Greeks), the most high god. What madness is this, lookout it’s a worm stampede! Does this mean that we are not really calling on our Savior but on Heracles/Hercules the son of Zeus? The mythical character the actor Kevin Sorbo played on TV? Yes, no but and…? Heracles/Hercules was only “one” of the sons begotten, (or maybe hatched), by the Greek god Zeus. Zeus was a prolific… well, if you have read Greek mythology you know.


Are you ready to go after those all worms? Look at those little squigglers go! Come on they are only squiggly worms and we are man and besides we were given dominion over the earth. Grab that tin can and lets get’em. The slimy little buggers. Ahem! Starting with the Athenians and all the way to the Spartans the Greeks are and were great thinkers. (I think that is where the famous sculpture of “The Thinker” came from… I think?) The Greeks gave us democracy and the politicians had some parties and ruined it… well they did, anyway, the Greeks gave us the first written account of the Gospels, which were written in, you guessed it Greek. Saul/Paul the apostle from what is known today as the country of Turkey was an educated man plus Saul/Paul the apostle was being groomed to become the high Priest of the Temple someday. Saul/Paul was the main apostle sent to the Gentiles to teach us about salvation through “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”. Saul/Paul was conversant in Greek and also wrote/dictated much of the Christian “New Testament” in Greek along with a Greek born and reared physician named Luke. Luke gave us the “Gospel of Luke" as told to him by Saul/Paul. So what? Here is what. The Greeks were and are deep thinkers. Being deep thinkers their words and names for things conveyed deep meanings and were meant to convey mental image pictures. The “king” of their gods was a big deal… Zeus was the most high god… to the Greeks. Zeus was god number one… to the Greeks. He was the most powerful of all of their gods… to the Greeks. We owe the first written account of the Gospels… to the Greeks. The Greeks, in order to convey the importance of the only begotten Son of G-d and of His gift of Salvation needed to explain that He, “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”, the only begotten Son of G-d is/was the Son of the most high G-d there ever was. How did the greatest thinkers of the ancient world convey this idea to even the commonest of men? They “called” the Savior by the name “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”! Look in your can now, see, most of those squiggly worms are back in that can! So what about your prayers to “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”? Our Savior is the Son of the true Most High G-d, Whom created the heavens and the earth and… us! So when we pray to Jesus for help and our salvation from sin and hell we are reaching the right person the only begotten Son of the Most High G-d. Ok, one or two more important worms to put back in the can of ours. Don’t quit now. Keep reading!If Jesus is not the true name of the Son of the Most High G-d then what is His name? In the Bible it is written that He shall be “called” Emmanuel in Hebrew. Emmanuel means simply G-d among us. Although it is like the name “Je-sus/yea-Zeus”, (Jesus), a description it still is not “the” actual name of the Son of the Most High G-d. Emmanuel in being descriptive rather than the true name of the Son of the Most High G-d does both present and solve a great mystery about the Trinity of G-d’s divinity.


The Trinity is called “the Trinity” because it is the person of G-d divided into three parts. This was formalized at the “Council of Nicea” When the Roman Catholic Church was first formed about 300 years after “Je-sus’/yea-Zeus’/Jesus’” resurrection from the dead. You see there was even more worms out of the can in those early days of the Roman Catholic Church when Rome was still an empire. You see the Empire of Rome was in its death throes at the time. The Empire was coming apart. There were bunches of gods and temples everywhere with opposing and warring political factions. The Roman Emperor at the time was Constantine and he needed to unite his empire and his subjects. So after some major miracles and a bunch of philosophical arguments Constantine converted to Christianity from being an Apollo worshiper. To explain how and why G-d did what G-d did the “Council of Nicea” issued what is known by all of the Catholics and us today by the odd name of the “Apostles Creed”. It was/is a statement of… about… ah… here read it for yourself.

“I believe in G-d the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ his only Son our L-rd; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He decended
into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of G-d the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.”

“The Council of Nicea” was formed by and “commanded and ordered” by the Emperor Constantine as I stated earlier and yes it was much more complex that what I stated to you here but that is a different can of worms for a future date. Simply put Jesus, without a doubt, is G-d Himself! Let me say it again Jesus is G-d! Surprise an unexpected worm for our can. The three parts or “aspects” of G-d all comprise the one true G-d that we worship today.

So what is the earthly name of “Je-sus/yea-Zeus, /Jesus”? In Hebrew the name of Jesus before the Greeks called him “Je-sus/yea-Zeus” was and still is very a Jewish name. It is or was as common in Israel as Fred or George is in the United States today. The Hebrew name “Yeshua/Yes-who-ah” is the name given to the only begotten Son of The Most High G-d. Oh and no! The Most High G-d is not Zeus! Zeus was/is one of the “fallen angels” and is not a god but one of the angels who rebelled with Lucifer. (Another item for a future time.)

The name Yeshua is from the name of the leader who led the Jews “into” the Promised Land, no, not the Moshe/Moses from the Cecil B. De Mille film from the 1950s “The Ten Commandments” with the impeccable Charlton Heston! The Moshe/Moses who only led the Jews “to” the Promised Land but Moshe/Moses did not lead the Jews “into” the Promised Land. Joshua led the Jews “into” the Promised Land and in the future Yeshua whom we call Jesus Christ will lead us “into” the Promised Land, which is Heaven! Jesus/Yeshua loved us enough to die for us on the Roman cross and He arose from the dead. Jesus/Yeshua still loves us that much and more even today almost 2000 years later. He is G-d a truly loving Father of a G-d that sacrificed Himself for us to “save us” from the horrific fate waiting for all sinners in hell for eternity. And now for that final and greatest of all worms, not just a worm but also he is a true evil dragon. This worm was defeated on that very same Roman cross by our beloved Savior Yeshua/Jesus. Yeshua/Jesus died that day on the cross for you and me and all that would come to believe in Him as G-d. He won our freedom from punishment in hell over sin. Yeshua/Jesus arose from that tomb on the third day from His crucifixion once again the very flesh of the Most High G-d “Emanuel”, (G-d among us!). For all of us who believe in Yeshua/Jesus there can be no true death, no hell and best of all no guilt from sin. You are free to live to love to be good as you were made to be by G-d your Father who is in Heaven. Now that you have a can of worms again I think that it is time to go fishing. Seek the lost and give them the “good news” set them free from sin and death as you were set free… witness to the lost and make them new as you were made new give them the gift of eternal life as Yeshua/Jesus gave it to you!(If you have wandered on to this website and don’t know Jesus/Yeshua now is the time to come to know Him. I set you a challenge that is also a gift to you. Ask! That is all you need to do. Ask Jesus/Yeshua to reveal Himself to you and to come into your heart a live there. Say these words and mean them; Yeshua/Jesus help me I am a sinner and I am lost. Please save me. Come into me and change me. Make me what our Father meant for me to be in your ways. Yeshua/Jesus I believe in you. Come Ask Yeshua/Jesus to place in you His Ruach ha Kodesh/Holy Spirit. Find a Christian Bible and read it because it is your story as well as His.)

“The Betrothal Cup and the Breath of G-d” (Parts 1 and 2)

How the Holy Spirit came to us

(PART TWO IS POSTED BELOW PART ONE)

I need to tell you a story from my people to help you to think a little more in depth. An old Jew and a young Jew were by chance riding on the same train to the same destination. The old Jew never said anything and this began to wear on the young Jewish man as they traveled. At first he just squirmed in his seat a bit and then he twiddled his thumbs. He began to hum to himself, quietly at first and observing the old Jew for his reaction. The old Jew did not react at all; he just sat there in his seat silently riding the train. Finally the young Jew could not stand it any longer… “Excuse me. What time is it?” The old Jew was as he was before… silent. The young Jew would not be ignored by this old Jewish man who sits there silently and will not answer him. So the young Jew asked his question again. “Excuse me. “Sir”, what time is it?” Still no answer comes from the old Jew. The young Jew is getting angry with the old Jew. “How rude and ill-mannered”, the young Jew thought to himself. Not to be put off by the perceived insult from this old Jew the young Jew speaks up yet again. “SIR”, I am asking you what time is it. Why won’t you answer me?” With a sigh the old Jew finally responds to the young Jew’s inquiry with this dialogue; “Son, the next stop is this train’s last stop of the day. I do not know you, so you must be a stranger to me. The sun is setting and the “Sabbath” is about to begin. It is obvious to me that you are a Jew as am I. If I answer your question “hospitality” dictates that I invite you to my home. You… are a handsome young Jewish Man! I have a beautiful daughter whom I love deeply. You both would fall in love and want to get married. So, you have asked me a question that I shall not answer.” This was far too much for the young Jew to deal with he knew that he should just ignore the old Jewish man and move to another compartment. As I said the inquisitor is a “young” Jewish man. The impatience of the young was in the young Jewish man’s heart and he had to ask so that he could better understand what had just happened. “I cannot understand why you won’t just simply tell me what time it is? What do you mean?” The young man was almost vibrating he was so angry about the old Jew’s response to his question of time.

The old Jew sighed again and responded with a query of his own to the young Jew. “Tell me, why would I need a son-in-law who can’t even afford a watch? The young Jew left the compartment and the old Jew smiled as he turned in silence back to the window.

What’s with the story? I told you this story so that you can understand how we think and it is that Jewish thought process, which seems to confound “Gentiles”. (If you are not a Jew you are considered a “Gentile”.) The reason is that Jews follow their traditions as devoutly as the American Indian Traditionalists. There are certain customs and traditions that must be kept in order to retain our cultural identity as Jews. These customs and traditions go as far back as the covenant between G-d and Abraham. To truly understand many of the teachings of Messianic Judaism set fourth by the Messiah we must look to the Jewish roots of Christianity. It is in the growth patterns of these Jewish roots we have revealed to us the teachings and hidden meanings in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. Saul/Paul the Apostle calls this necessary soul food, “MEAT” not “milk”. Here is an example of what I mean.

In the first century A.D. in the Roman province of Judea there was a betrothal custom, which entailed the sharing of wine in a cup between the two parties to be engaged. There are very striking similarities between this custom and what has come to be known as the “Last Supper”. The Last Supper was held in a rented room and it was officiated over by “Yeshua Ben Yosef” the Jewish “Sacrificial Messiah”. Today Christians the world over call Him Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus Christ. The story of this “Last Supper” can be found in The New Testament of the Christian Bible in The Book of Matthew in chapter 26 verses 17 through 35, in the Book of Mark in chapter 14 verses 17 through 26, and also in the Book of Luke chapter 22 verse 1 through 39. If you will read these three accounts of the “Last Supper” you will begin to see the mystery of the “Betrothal Cup” unfold.

I will skip over the part where the marriage contract is negotiated between the relations of the future bride and the groom and get straight to what we shall call for now the “meat” of the story. Here is the custom and it’s functioning. The father of the bride sits or stands between the future bride who is his child and the future groom who is to become his “son-in-the-law”. (This is where the label of “son-in-law” comes from.) As I have said before I will skip over the part where the marriage contract is negotiated between the relations of the future bride and the groom. The Wine cup is filled and the Father of the bride first presents the filled cup to the future bridegroom. The bridegroom takes the cup that is given to him by the father of the bride and drinks some of it. Some scholars say half of the wine others say just some of the wine. After the future bridegroom has finished drinking his share the bridegroom hands the cup back to the bride’s father. The father receives the cup but he does not drink from the cup instead the father of the bride passes the cup on to his child, the future bride. If the bride accepts the cup she must drink from the cup if she does not drink from the cup the betrothal is not completed. I have never heard of an instance of the cup being refused by the future bride once the father of the bride offers it to his child. The previous statement does not mean that refusal of the cup’s acceptance never happened it just means what I wrote, that I have never heard of it being refused. What I can be certain of is that the father of the bride and the prospective bridegroom would consider the reluctant bride to be dead to them. The high priest of the Temple who condemned Yeshua/Jesus to the Roman Procurator Pontius Pilate before The High Priest sent Yeshua/Jesus to be condemned The High Priest tore his garments. The rending of the garments is a sign that the person who rends their garments is signifying that the person before them is to be considered as if they were dead. Now what on Earth or in heaven does this mean and what does it have to do with the “Last Supper”?

In the 1st century custom of the “Betrothal Cup” the three people represented are as follows. The first is the Father of the Bride, the cup’s presenter and the cup’s possessor in this instance the father represents G-d the Father. The second party in the ceremony is the son the first partaker of the cup’s contents as received from the hand of the Father of the bride. The Father of the bride is representative of the brides creator much the same as G-d is our creator. To continue, the son receives the cup and the contents from the Father/Creator of the bride. The Son is the first to taste the contents of the betrothal cup. Once the Son drinks from the cup it is a sign of the Son’s acceptance of the marriage contract. The cup is then given back to the Father/Creator of the bride. The Father then “offers” the betrothal cup to His child/creation, the future bride. This is done so that the potential bride may accept or reject the betrothal cup and thus to accept or reject the proposed union between her and the bridegroom. Afterwards a meal of roasted “lamb” is prepared for the prospective bride and Groom. This is also called the marriage feast of the lamb. If the coincidence of this label has not hit you yet it will latter on.

Now to tie up most of the loose ends to show you a mystery revealed and to give you the chance to seek the “Spirit”/Ruach ha Kodesh so that you may see more for yourself in that “Spirit”.

The Father took a cup and filled it with wine. The Father then gives the cup of wine to the Son that He might drink of that cup to seal the betrothal. The Son must accept this proffered cup from the Father. Then the Son must drink deeply from the cup and return the cup to the Father so that the Father may offer it to His daughter the future bride. This is the first part of the betrothal ceremony and it must happen before the marriage feast of the Lamb is to begin. (Christian Bible, Matthew chapter 26 verse 39; And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (kjv) An interesting passage and even more so because of the possible other meanings. “Let this cup pass from me”, what exactly was the meaning of this phrase? Why did the cup need to pass from the groom back to the Father? In the Christian Bible, Matthew chapter 26 verse 42; He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. (kjv) The Groom initiated the marriage contract or His family initiated it, if the groom did not drink from the cup and return it to the Father who then presented it to the bride the betrothal would not be complete and the marriage could not take place. Are you beginning to see the significance of this first century Jewish ceremony and how it relates to the Last Supper and our salvation? The two biblical quotes were in the time frame of after the Last Supper. Lets look at the Last Supper itself and a “Betrothal Cup” ceremony of another kind contained there in Part 2.

Why the Last Supper?

We have given the “Passover Supper” shared by Jesus/Yeshua and his twelve disciples a special name. We gave it that special name to the “Passover Supper” because of that meal’s “special nature”. The nature is in the symbolism that it holds and this symbolism has been overlooked or was the symbolism never really understood by the later “Christians”. The later Christians did not know the roots of Christianity. Those roots were and still are Jewish in their nature. If you do not know the culture of the Jews of “First Century Israel” then you do not fully understand true Christianity in its original depths as Jesus/Yeshua taught it to the people of the first century. Allow me to explain just what I mean.

In part one we discussed the custom of the “Betrothal Cup” as it was in the first century. We saw that there were three major participants, the father of the bride, the future groom and of course you cannot have a true marriage without the bride. The question now before us is what does all of this have to do with the “Last Supper”? Everything! G-d caused the ten plagues to fall upon Egypt BUT… each of the ten plagues of Egypt also has a natural explanation. (If you want to learn more about that I recommend that you rent or better still purchase a copy of Simcha Jacobovici’s film “The Exodus Decoded” it is available on the History Channel’s website.) What Simcha Jacobovici’s film shows us is that G-d works within our understanding of how things work in nature so that we can’t just point to something and say “look here is proof of G-d.” G-d wants us to believe in Him by FAITH! Something we can only do that by looking within ourselves or by seeking G-d in the “Holy Scriptures”. There is another excellent of way to “find G-d” if you are willing to study and compare the “Holy Scriptures” to the cultures of it’s settings. In simpler words you want to know about what Jesus/Yeshua was talking about in the Bible, learn the “man” as well as the G-d. Learn the man through Jesus/Yeshua’s culture and family. Learn the truth of what He was talking about by the New Testament writings compared to the Tanakh or Old Testament writings and the Jewish culture of Jesus/Yeshua’s day. Let’s look at this amazing example that is or was lost or hidden in the custom of the Betrothal cup.

First let’s look at the Biblical account of the “Last Supper”. Matthew chapter 26 verses 27 through 29; (27) And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; (28) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (29) But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom. (kjv) (The whole story of this is in each of the four “Gospels”. I suggest that you read them again after you have read this series and Let me know via e-mail comments what you have discovered in your studies. If you ask you shall receive, don’t have faith in me but in Him who sent you to this website!) In the 1st century custom of the “Betrothal Cup” the three people represented are as follows. The first is the Father of the Bride; the father represents G-d the Father the cup’s presenter and the cup’s possessor and creator. The second party in the ceremony is the Son or Jesus/Yeshua the first partaker of the cup’s contents as received from the hand of G-d. The cup itself also represents an aspect of G-d… Ruach ha Kodesh in Hebrew. In the English language Ruach ha Kodesh means the Breath of G-d or what Christian’s today call the Holy Spirit! The third and final participant in the ceremony is the bride… can you guess who the bride represents? The New Testament mentions another ceremony called the Wedding Feast of the Lamb. Following the “Translation” of believers, which is also called, the “Rapture” or “Catching Away” a ceremony will take place in Heaven it is called the “Wedding Feast of the Lamb”. We who are the followers of Jesus/Yeshua are also referred to as the bride or brides of Christ and we will be co-participants with Jesus/Yeshua in this “Wedding Feast of the Lamb”.

Now we see the Betrothal Cup Ceremony in the true light that it was to be seen in. The Father/G-d Presents the Cup to His Son, (Jesus/Yeshua), first. Jesus/Yeshua in return asks the Father/G-d if it is in G-d’s will that He, (Jesus/Yeshua partake of the contents of this Cup. (Mark 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. (kjv) Why did Jesus/Yeshua not want to partake of the contents of that Cup? Many will say that it is a great mystery and not to be known by us until it is revealed by Jesus/Yeshua Himself at the “Wedding Feast of the Lamb” in Heaven. I say it may well be that the Ruach ha Kodesh/the Holy Spirit knows and will reveal it to you when you are ready to handle it and accept it. The Cup contains the wine of the New Covenant, which is the very Blood of G-d. Within that cup is a priceless gift from G-d it is His precious blood. The same Sacred Blood of G-d that flowed from the wounds of Jesus/Yeshua as He died on the cross as the ultimate and only sacrifice which could atone for all of our sins from Adam to you and me and beyond. The Blood price that G-d paid to redeem us from the fires of hell was G-d’s own blood and death. G-d always was and always will be so how can G-d die? Jesus/Yeshua was G-d, is G-d and shall always be G-d! And G-d became flesh and that flesh was called Jesus/Yeshua. The Spirit of G-d is Ruach ha Kodesh/the Holy Spirit… that Holy Spirit can never be killed and can never die. The Holy Spirit is eternal and the Holy Spirit is G-d! Ok, then who died on the cross? The Flesh of G-d who was the vessel which contained G-d’s “Life” Blood, this vessel has a name His name is Yeshua ha Mashiach/ Jesus of Nazareth the only begotten Son of G-d. Here is that mystery unveiled, G-d cannot die or be killed nor can He be removed from His Holy Throne. John Chapter 3 verses16 through 21 (16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For every one that doeth evil hates the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (kjv) Beloved! To some of you this will not be revealed because you are blinded by this world. All that Lucifer or his companions, those who are fallen, need to do to stop you from seeing this is to distract you by the things of this world which are friends, family, food, clothing, work, money etc. These are the blinders upon your eyes and the very reason that Saul/Paul said to us ALL; Romans Chapter 8 verses 4 & 5 (4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (kjv) Jesus/Yeshua knew through the very Breath of G-d that was in Him, (the Holy Spirit), once He had partaken of that glorious Cup that nothing could possibly be changed that the final sacrifice would be given unto G-d the Father and for all who believed they even down to those poor little ones, (us, you and I), who had never seen Jesus/Yeshua in the flesh, we who had never heard Him speak, (save through the Holy Spirit), as long as we believe upon His “Holy Name”, then, even we would be saved from the eternal death and hell. Beloved nothing can take you from the hand of G-d once you truly believe that Jesus/Yeshua was/is/shall be the only begotten Son of the eternal G-d and He gave up His life and G-d’s Sacred Blood upon the cross as full and complete atonement for all of your sins! Once the Sacred Cup was accepted and drunk by Jesus/Yeshua it could not be stopped and once salvation was granted it could not be revoked by anyone but him or her who had received that glorious gift! One of the reasons that we are to partake of what we call the “Communion Cup” is so that we will remember Jesus/Yeshua and honor Him BUT we are also to do it in memory of what we are now! Beloved, if you have believed then you are saved from your sins and you have within you the Ruach ha Kodesh/Holy Spirit and you must, must, must remember that and walk in G-d’s Righteousness and in His Spirit and do not rely upon your own weak flesh. It was explained best by Jesus/Yeshua Himself best; Matthew Chapter 26 verse 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (kjv) Remember you have partaken of the real Holy Grail… The Betrothal Cup of G-d Himself who gave it to Jesus of Nazareth who is the Messiah for you and me!

The end of days has begun

I have been doing quite a bit of research and quite frankly prayer,... prayer seems to sound funny to some ears and natural to other ears,... that can be the same way with hearts and let's not forget minds. Yeshua said to many at many times and places, "He who has an ear listen". This is the anniversary of the attack on the world trade center that took the lives of over 2000 people. The course is set and the time has come,... we were warned by G-d, those of us who understand the ways of the "Holy Spirit"/"Ruach ha Kodesh" have been watching upon the wall. We are about to turn a page in human history that has been turned before.The page we are turning to is called the next World War. I wish that it were not true and that this were some kind of dream that will end when I wake up. Martin Luther King had a dream; we are still suffering from the dread disease of the mind called racism. Did you know that two Jews started the N.A.A.C.P.? Racism is the boarder fence along the U.S. Mexico Border, Al Queda, the Klu Klux Klan, some L.A. Cops, Mahmoud Ahmadineajad, Nazism and it can even be found in ourselves although we won't admit it aloud. Religion, culture, race and finances, these are what caused the war. We really did not mean to do it,... it was and it is human nature.We have a nature of mistrust and zero cooperation with our fellows and that my friend is called a lack of FAITH! Faith in ourselves, faith in relationships. Faith in and trust in G-d. Many of the people that dwell on this world that G-d created truly wonder if there is a G-d. All of this and more is our inherited nature from Eve to Adam and through them right down to you, I and our decedents. Welcome to "Original Sin". It is from "Original Sin" to this "Final World War" that has been the journey of mankind upon this Earth,... so far.The F.W.W. is not the end of the journey; it is the second beginning for those who have listened. There was a trilogy of movies called the "Matrix". I recommend you watch it. The Trilogy deals with the two forces that are in battled for the domination of the Earth. One is good and one is bad. That is what is going on today, we you and I are in the middle of the F.W.W. it is spilling over from heaven and out on to our heads and it has been going on for thousands of years. For the most part we have never even noticed that it is happening,... that is going to end soon. We are not just in a fight for our lives we are in the fight for our souls as well.If you are not a person on fire in your heart and soul for G-d this is not a blog for you,... for the rest of you this may well become a source of comfort and peace in the days ahead of us. Hear the voice of one who has come out of the desert as a witness before the L-rd some of you (144,000, 12,000 from each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel) will soon bare the seal of G-d upon your foreheads placed there by His holy Angelic Messenger. You will be the last hope for the hopeless. Behold the greatest harvest ever known is about to begin as the war in heaven spills out upon the Earth. Please let this be your first warn device for what will be happening in the coming days that are left before the Final Battle of the Final War. You have a choice to make so,… do you want to live forever or do you want to end up being a charcoal briquette doing the backstroke, flaming and smoking in the lake of fire for eternity? You choose,… fight the good fight or burn up. If you want to go deeper into G-d and find the more of G-d that you have longed for start here and be prepared to learn things beyond your wildest dreams. You won’t need to swallow a pill or a lie just drink deeply of the truth and remember sometimes the meat is hard to chew and swallow but if you would grow you must eat the meat you may have already had the milk but do you want to be a baby all of your life. So are you ready to see G-d in your life and know that it is Him and not you moving the Earth and making your path straight?
